You can make a super-hot air fryer out of anything from a plastic bag to an empty plastic bag.
But it doesn’t have to be a plastic container.
Here’s how to make your own flower power air fryers from an empty bottle, plastic bag, and anything else.
The basic ingredients for a flower air fry.
1 cup water 2 tablespoons olive oil 4 tablespoons water 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/4 teaspoon pepper 3 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons water 2 cups of shredded coconut 1 cup shredded pineapple 1/3 cup dried strawberries 1 cup dried raisins 1/5 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 tablespoon sugar or honey 2 teaspoons lemon zest 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1/8 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons olive or coconut oil 3 tablespoons water 3/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped Fresh squeezed lime juice or lime zest.
Combine the water, oil, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the garlic and lemon juice.
Stir for a few minutes.
Then add the coconut oil, water, and pineapple.
Stir to combine.
Add the shredded coconut and pineapple, coconut, and lemon zests.
Stir and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Pour into a large pan.
Heat over medium-high heat and cook for 10-12 minutes, until the coconut is softened and golden brown.
Add in the pineapple chunks.
Turn the heat to medium-low and cook until the pineapple is soft and fragrant.
Add more coconut oil if needed.
The coconut should start to cook the pineapple.
Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice and lemon water.
Add a little more coconut water if needed to bring it to the desired temperature.
Serve over fresh or frozen pineapple chunks for a tropical fruit treat.
